Personal Relations with Factions:
Each player has personal relations with each unique faction/state. These relations affect the following aspects of gameplay:
- Quests - if the state has a poor relationship with the player, they will not issue some quests until the relationship improves.
- Treasure hints - depending on the relationship between the player and the state, hints for various treasures will appear/not appear/there will be fewer of them.
- Passages - the relationship to the player affects the chance of passage in various places, and its cost.
Improving Personal Relations:
- Quests - many quests will in one way or another affect the relationship between the player and the state.
- Gifts - the player can make monetary gifts to the states, thus improving relations with the states.
- Unique order modifiers - the player can reduce the cost of an order, thus improving relations with the state of the customer.
- Quest results - if the player fails a quest, or sends not the units requested by the state, the relationship with the customer will worsen.
